A-Team smbl
With his "Show-Me 100" triumph over Memorial Weekend, Jimmy Owens (20) jumped from fourth in the rankings to second, just behind "Team Bloomquist" partner Scott Bloomquist (0). Owens is the only driver in the sport with an astounding average finish that hovers below 4th place.
Based on the numbers as the season progresses, Bloomquist, Owens, Don O'Neal and Billy Moyer have pulled away in the standings sufficient to be considered a class of their own for several weeks to come.
Moyer missed a "Show-Me" entry by one position and took up Owens' former position. The spotlight on O'Neal's performances have been dimmed only by the fact that he typically runs most of the same events as trophy-grabbing habits of Bloomquist and Owens.

The A-Team is a ranking of the nation's top dirt Late Model drivers across all sanctions.  Performance criteria is based on level of competition, car counts, best finishes (calculated on a progressive sliding scale as the season advances), and other data.  Theoretically, the order of the Top 25 would be the estimated order of finish in a fictitious event if all American Late Model racers competed together at a neutral racing venue.
