Tapping into an abundance of local talent, the Carolina Clash sanctions 14 dates at five tracks exclusively in North Carolina, with the exception of two events at Wythe Raceway, Va.. The series runs from March through October.

The Meridian-based Mississippi State Championship Challenge sanctions events in the Magnolia State. Dates are currently pending.

The Comp Cams Mid-South Racing Association competes primarily in the Ark-La-Tex region of the midsouth, with one date in Missouri's "bootheel" in 2010. The series will kick off in late March at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock and continue its string of $2,000-to-win events through September with a closer at the legendary Riverside Speedway in West Memphis.

The Bama Super Series concept will expand into the PRO, which will compete at north Alabama and north Mississippi racing venues during the 2010 season, with 11 events currently on tap over a five month period.

One of the oldest touring series' in existence launches its season in late January with a trio of events at Brunswick, Ga. and continues with a 24-race schedule across five southeastern states through October.

Following a small trend modeled after Bob Memmers' famed UMP "Summernationals", the Southern Nationals follows that pattern with a ten-race series of events in six southeastern states from July 12th through the 24th.

The Tennessee Valley based Southern Regional Racing Series will contest 18 events in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia with purses that range from $2,000 to $10,000 per event.

Founded by racer Donald Watson in 1989, SUPR will open the 2010 season with its annual Feb. 25-27 extravaganza at Texas Motor Speedway and continue its 27-race calendar through November's finale at Southwestern Mississippi's Pike County Speedway.

The steel blocked race cars of the UDLMS will compete in 18 events around then deep south beginning at Ocala (Fla.) Speedway in March.
