Wendell Wallace of Batesville, Ark. raced his way to victory Sunday evening at the Monett Speedway for the 40th annual 4-State Dirt Track Championships with the MARS DIRTcar Series. Wallace scored his second win of the 2011 season and his 28th career win with MARS. Wallace earned $4,000 for his efforts. Jesse Stovall of Galena, Mo. finished second over Terry Phillips, Jeremy Payne, both of Springfield, Mo., and MARS point leader Brad Looney of Republic, Mo.
