SRRS: Johnson Again at "The
WHEEL, Tenn. - Racing the high side of Duck River Speedway, Ronnie Johnson headed for Victory Lane once again on
the Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS).
Eighteen driverss registered in, with two groups qualifying. Fast time overall was Jay Brinkley with a 12.91 lap
time, and with no heat races, the local ace

lined up on the pole and took the lead at the green, followed by Johnson, Anthony Burroughs, and David
Earl Gentry. By lap 12, Brinkley still had the lead but Burroughs had slipped past Johnson for second place.
On lap 15, Burroughs took the lead from Brinkley, but a caution for the #M31 car of Tony Morris would revert the
field back to the last completed lap,
Early action at Duck River Speedway as winner Ronnie Johnson takes the high side of
#31 Tony Morris and #121 Anthony Burroughs.(Connie
voiding Burroughs' pass for the lead. On lap 18, Johnson, running the high groove, took the lead from Brinkley
and stayed there to take the the checkered flag and the $2,000 jackpot. The top 5 were Johnson, Brinkley,
Burroughs, Gentry, and Dane Dacus.
