Moyer survived an attrition-filled feature to claim the unprecedented eighth triumph. Moyer received several challenges throughout the feature as well as some close calls in lap traffic. At the checkered flag he would claim the $20,011 win by six car lengths over Bub McCool, Eric Cooley (started 15th), Brian Rickman (started 21st), and Morgan Bagley (started 25th).

Boland, McRee, Dougie King, and Cliff Williams rounded out the top five at the checkered flag.

Two-time event champion, Chris Wall from Springfield, La., started the night by qualifying fastest with a lap of 13.589 seconds. Heat race wins went to Billy Moyer, Neil Baggett, Wendell Wallace, Bub McCool, Dane Dacus, and Jay Burchfield claim the wins.
