Steel Block Bandits:
Roberson Wraps Shenandoah Valley Sweep at Natural Bridge Speedway
NATURAL BRIDGE, Va. - Sept. 10. One night after securing his first Steel Block Bandit of the season
at Eastside Speedway, Greg Roberson returned to action in the same car and swept the night of racing at Natural

Matt Cosner had parlayed a great heat race effort into a great feature start and was running fourth
when mechanical issues saw the left front wheel pointing in the wrong direction, Cosner continued but steadily

As the field then settled into a long green flag run, Roberson quickly pulled away from Booper
Bare. Justin Williams and Wes Bonebrake followed behind, with points leader Walker Arthur and young Tanner Kerr
battling hard behind them. The whole complexion of the points race changed with nine laps to go when Walker
Arthur got into trouble in turn one and slid off the turn two banking and out of the park. Arthur would resume,
but definitely allowing Bare to make up some points.
With nine to go, Roberson again pulled away from Bare and became the only SBB driver to win two in
a row. Bare finished second with Justin Williams in third, Wes Bonebrake had a strong fourth place run while
Tanner Kerr had a career night with a fifth place finish.
