WEST LIBERTY, Ia. - Oct. 8. Beautiful weather and a huge crowd were part of the final night of the "Liberty
100" here at the West Liberty Raceway on Saturday night as the curtain fell for the final time for the 2011
racing season.
In the 50-lap Open Late Model feature, Chad Simpson grabbed the lead at the outset and never looked back as he
went on to capture his tenth Late Model victory of the season. Simpson got some pressure from second finishing
Brian Harris near the end of the race, but Simpson's machine was stout throughout.
