Rickman Ravishes PRO/NeSmith Series at
WHYNOT, Miss. - May 29. Rick Rickman, of
Columbus, Miss. drove to his firstWhynot Super Late
Model feature win during the first ever appearance ofthe P.R.O. Dirt Car Super Late Model Series Saturday at Whynot Motorsports
"The track was great and our car was great"
Rickman said. "We could racefrom top to bottom. I
want to thank my crew for all their hard work". It was Rickman's first Super Late Model feature win at the Meridian area track.
Jason Cliburn claimed quick time of the evening
with a 13.160 over a stellar field of 35 Super
Late Models. Cliburn jumped out to an early lead
during the 40 lap main event until Brian Rickman
took over the top spot running the high side on lap six. Rick Rickman followed, taking second from Cliburn, then stayed on
the high side of the speedway and took the lead
from brother Brian on lap 12. Rick then held off
all challengers the rest of the race as the leaders had toface fierce three-wide racing in lapped traffic.
Lakeland, Tennessee's Dane Dacus raced his way
from tenth to second as Cliburn finished third,
David Breazeale was fouth, with Clint Byars fifth
after Brian Rickman was caught up in a last lap wreck that shuffled him to ninth in the final
