Blair Takes Big Bear Trophy in "Grizzly 50" at Central
CLEARFIELD, Pa. - May 30. Robbie Blair showed every intention
of defending his O'Reilly All Stars Late Model Series title when he drove to Victory Lane in Saturday's "Grizzly
50" at Central Pa. Speedway. The Hydetown, Pa. native drove off the row three to take over the top spot on lap
The redraw found Blair starting sixth on the
grid Gregg Satterlee drew the pole and took the
lead at the start. John Britsky jumped from row
two into second ahead of Keith Barbara, Boom Briggs, and Matt Lux.
The first caution flew on lap nine for a spinning John
Gavrin, and after the restart, the red flag came out when Lux got into the outside wall while running seventh. Lux' car came back
across the track into the path of Darren Peters, who slammed into Lux' driver's side door, then rolled over on its
roof. Both drivers were shaken, but with no serious injury.
When the race restarted, Satterlee continued to set the pace
with Blair sitting in fifth. On lap 11, Briggs took the lead from Satterlee and Blair found an opening into
second place. Blair pressured Briggs for the lead until grabbing it on lap 13. and holding off
Briggs and Satterlee for the
