Southern All Stars: Byars Takes Whynot Victory MERIDIAN, Miss. - May 28. Klint Byars of Calhoun City, Miss., dominated the 50-lap Southern All Star feature race Saturday at Whynot Motorsports Park. The only Challenger of the night was another Mississippi driver David Breazeale. The Four Corners, Miss. ace pulled beside Byars on the front staightaway on lap 30, but before he could complete the pass to take the lead, mechanical issues ended his night, giving Byars the easy win. Georgia racers Tony Knowles and Brian Reese finished second and third, while Florida's Shep Lucas finished fourth and Louisiana's Dwight Falcon took fifth.
