Stuhler Stumps Williams Grove Stop on Appalachian Mt.
MECHANICSBURG, Pa. - June 8. The Keystone State's own Gary Stuhler came off the outside front row and led all 50
laps of Tuesday night's third installment of the "Appalachian Mountain Speedweek" series at Williams Grove
Speedway. The veteran driver found the dry slick track to his liking and as he held off 19-year-old Keith Jackson
to score his 21st career victory at Williams Grove.

For Jackson, it was one of the highlights of hs young career, given the 50 entries that would have gladly taken
his runner up finish. Wisconsin traveller Jimmy Mars tried at one point after advancing from eighth place on
a track that saw passing limited. Mars pulled ahead of the young driver on the outside as the
frontrunners diced through traffic, but Jackson quickly recovered, and Mars slipped on a lap 22 restart to lose
positions to third and fourth place finishers Vic Coffey and D.J. Myers. Behind Mars, last night's Winchester, Va.
winner, Rick Eckert claimed sixth
