Bland Finds Victory Lane at Fayetteville Clash

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - June 6. Jordan Bland started fifth o the grid and worked his way into position to catch race-long leader Chris Ferguson with just three laps to go to capture his first win of the season on the Carolina Clash Late Model Series at Fayetteville Motor Speedway.

Having already captured a Southern All Stars East Series win in neighboring South Carolina, Ferguson had led from the start and appeared ready to reward ailing car owner Jack Starrette with his second get well gift of the weekend, but it was to be as Ferguson would have to settle for second over three of the series most potent competitors over the years, Dennis Franklin, Ricky Weeks, and Chris Autry.
