Clash South: Weeks prevails at Traveler's Rest

WINGATE, N.C. - June 19. Rick Weeks grabbed his first Clash South win and propelled himself to the top of the series points standings Saturday night at Traveller's Rest Speedway

Weeks choose the outside lane on the start of the feature, but Chris Ferguson got the jump on a restart and overpowered Weeks heading into turn one. Then on lap two, Ferguson tried widening out the racetrack by hitting the outside turn four wall, allowing Weeks to take the lead for good.
