UFO Race Championship: Friese Gets First Career Series Win at Roaring Knob Track report MARKLEYSBURG, Pa. - July 9. The UFo Championship Series flew into Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex for their first visit of the season. When the final checker flew it was Chambersburg, Pa.’s Devin Friese claiming his career first win in the series. Front row starter Jacob Hawkins and Friese led the field to the green. Hawkins led the first lap before Friese blew by with an inside pass and took off. Hawkins stayed within striking distance, but Friese had the #12 on rails as he raced off from the field. With just two laps to go Ron Delano, Jr., who started 20th, took over second from Hawkins. Delano ran out of time as Friese was able to win his career first UFo checkered flag. Delano took second over Jacob Hawkins, Jared Hawkins, Mel Minnick, Jr. (from 13th), Tim Senic, Jared Miley (from 19th), Chad McClellan, Gary Dalton and Danny Pugh.
