FARMER CITY, Ill. - July 8. Brandon Sheppard is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with on the
DirtCar Summer Nationals "Hell Tour" afterwinning Friday night at
Farmer City Raceway.Sheppard of New Berlin, Ill.,
started fifth and dueled with current 'Hell Tour' point leader Shannon Babb of Moweaqua, Ill., over 40-laps
to earn his second DIRTcar Summer Nationals victory worth $10,000.
The victory was Sheppard's largest payday of his young career,
doubling what he earned almost a week earlier at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway where he won his first ever 'Hell
Tour' event. Babb finished second, his 11th top-10 finish on this year's tour, which is four more than any other driver during the

extend his point lead to 135 markers over James, and to 213 points over defending DIRTcar Summer Nationals
Champion Jason Feger of Bloomington, Ill., who finished eighth.
The DIRTcar Summer Nationals will return to action Saturday,
July 9 at Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway.
