NALMS: Feger Returns to Macon
For Unfinished Business
MACON, Ill. - July 22. After
suffering a disappointing loss to fellow Illinois racer Dennis Erb, Jr. in last week's "Herald and Review 100"
at Macon Speedway, Jason Feger passed Kyle Logue on lap four of Thursday Northern All Stars sanctioned event
and was second to none at the conclusion of the $2,000-to-win race.

The recently crowned Summer
Nationals champion was the fast qualifier of 24 UMP Late Model drivers on
handbefore winning his heat and earning an outside front row starting berth for the main event. Logue
claimed the early lead, but Feger pushed his #25 by Logue on lap four and never looked back for the
remaining 26 circuits.
Logue held on to finish third, while Roger Brickler kept
Richie Hedrick at bay to finish third. Summer Nationals regular Brian Shirley picked up fifth,
while racer and speedway co-owner Ken Schrader was on hand to post an eighth place
finish.
