Southern Nationals: Davenport Express at East Alabama

PHENIX CITY, Ala. - July 20. Barry Wright Race Cars house car driver Jonathan Davenport extended his current Southern Nationals Series point lead with a convincing $3,500 win tonight at the East Alabama Motor Speedway.

After setting fast time during qualifying nearly four-tenths faster than anyone else, Davenport held the stout field behind him for all 35 circuits in the A-Main to claim his second career Southern Nationals Series victory.
