Volunteer/SRRS/MDRL: White Makes Giant Leap With Wartburg Win On Three Tours

 Series report

WARTBURG, Tenn. — July 1. Ross White of Knoxville, Tenn. set some records at Wartburg Speedway on Friday.

White led flag to flag for his first-career STARS Volunteer Racing Series, STARS Midwest Dirt Racing League (MDRL) and Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) event win. But these three series victories during the stop at Wartburg wasn’t the only big factor - this was White’s first career Super Late Model victory.

White claimed the $5,000 first place prize by winning over Eric Jacobsen, Anthony Burroughs, Dustin Linville and Shane Clanton. The Tennessee driver raced the DWB Race Car sponsored by Alternative Care, Autoxtend, Advance Transmission, Clayton McCarty Electric, RT Clapp Car Care, Speedway Videos and West Haven Speed Equipment.
