SAS East: Pursley Returns To SASE Victory Lane at Cherokee

GAFFNEY, S.C. - Aug. 21. The Southern All Stars East Late Model Series made its fifth appearance at Cherokee Speedway Saturday with a short field of 13 entries for its "Rock Gault Memorial" event. Johnny Pursley, who won the tour's opening race here on April 17th, returned to Victory Lane with a $4,000 check in hand.
