VRS/SRRS: Johnson leaves North Georgia Foes in Dust

CHATSWORTH, Ga. — Aug. 14. The Volunteer Racing Series and the PPM Racing Products Southern Regional Racing Series rolled into Timmy Milwood’s North Georgia Speedway for a 40-lap $3,000 to win main event. When all was said and done, Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, Tenn. claimed his first VRS event win of the season after taking the lead away from Randy Weaver.
