Johnson and Cook Share Green Valley SRRS Doubleheader

GLENCOE, Ala. - April 17. The PPM Race Products sponsored Southern Regional Racing Series took their Super Late Model show to "Rumble in the Jungle" at Green Valley Speedway for a double header, with two complete nights of racing.

On Friday, Ray Cook took the lead early in the race and stayed there to the checkered flag. Anthony Burroughs finished second after starting in eighth place. Holmes, Ronny Lee Hollingsworth and Tony Morris followed.

On Saturday, Ronnie Johnson moved methodically toward the front of the pack. Johnson would definitely earn the Hard Charger Recognition for moving from 16th to take the win. Rounding out the top five finishers were Ronny Lee Hollingsworth, Stacy Holmes, Tony Morris and Anthony Burroughs.
