Carrier Claims $3K at 201 Speedway

SITKA, Ky. - May 8. Kentucky's own Eddie Carrier, Jr. took over from Josh McGuire midway through Saturday's 30-lap feature and raced to a $3,000 win at 201 Speedway.

McGuire set fast time for the unsanctioned event and won the first of three heat races to earn the pole position.  McGuire would lead the first 14 laps before second generation driver Carrier took charge and led the remainder.

Filling in for father Tim Dohm, who continues to recover from recent surgery, Zach Dohm guided his Dad's #17 into second for the finish, pushing McGuire to third.  Completing the top five were Victor Lee and Chris Combs.

McGuire shared heat wins with Lee and Brandon Kinzer, while the consolation race went to D.J. Wells
