Casebolt Claims First Win of 2010 at Florence

FLORENCE, Ky. - April 3. Steve Casebolt and the Harris Motorsports team made the weekend a success with an early season win on Saturday at Florence Speedway on Saturday. Casebolt drove his Preferred Sandblasting, Dixie Chopper sponsored Rocket Chassis to the victory over Florence Speedway front runner and fellow Lucas Oil regular Don O'Neal, and Indiana's Scott James.

"This weekend's win at Florence was a great way for us to get our season started off right," Casebolt said. "We have had our fair share of good and bad

runs at Florence over the years so we are happy to get back on track there. We really feel like we deserved a good run at Florence since we have worked so hard to get good there".

The win was Casebolt's fifth at the nearby speedway. Initially, it was outside polesitter Casebolt slipping into second as Jason Jameson led the way. Just past the five lap mark, Casebolt slipped ahead of Jameson for the lead, and a few laps later, Jameson was knocked out of the hunt in a scrape with O'Neal, who had worked his way into contention from his row six start. O'Neal threatened Casebolt's #c9 midway through the race, but the young Indiana driver held tough to hold O'Neal to second place.
