Ray Cook Rolls to Tenth Career SRRS Win at North Georgia

CHATSWORTH, Ga. - April 3. Ray Cook, of Brasstown, N.C. took the PPM Race Products Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) checkered flag at North Georgia Speedway on Saturday. Out of 35 top driver entries from six states, Cook set his sites on the main prize and went after it, with fast time honors in group qualifying that secured the fifth starting spot, and a win after 40 laps in the feature.

Randy Weaver - Jimmy Tucker

  This win made the second SRRS win for Cook this season. Crossville Tennessee’s Randy Weaver finished in second place. Billy Ogle Jr. set quick time out of the 35 entries and finished the feature in third place. Ronnie Johnson qualified third in his group, earning the ninth place feature starting position before moving up to finish the main event in fourth place.
